Your Boudoir Session – Top 12 Most Frequently Asked Questions
Boudoir Photography – Frequently Asked Questions
The thought of a boudoir session can be scary. When talking to women about their session, I get asked all kinds of questions. So I wanted to compile a list of my 12 most frequently asked questions to give you some insight on preparing for a boudoir session with me!
Do You Share My Boudoir Images?
Our number one priority is making sure our clients are comfortable, especially with boudoir! It can be a life-changing experience but that also makes it nerve-wracking! Sometimes, you are learning how to love your body and you aren’t quite ready to share the images with the world, or something these photos are specifically for your spouse and aren’t for anyone else’s eyes. These are all great reasons for not sharing your photos, and it all depends on your personal preferences. I will always ask permission to share your photos, and you only share what you are comfortable with, even if that means none at all!
Do I have to Wear Lingerie?
You definitely don’t have to specifically wear lingerie, it depends on your personality! There are a BUNCH of outfit ideas other than lacy little things! A lot of women will bring oversized sweaters, jean or leather jackets, robes, daisy duke shorts, cocktail dresses, white tees…the list is endless!

Do you have Payment Plans?
We offer a few payment options! There is a booking retainer to book your shoot that is due upon choosing a date for your session. Every client is offered a Pre-Session Payment Plan that can start as early as the day of their booking and can extend until 14 days prior to their session. We also provide our clients with Boudie Bonuses valued at over $500 with pre-purchasing a Collection. You are also welcome to pre-purchase your package in full instead of breaking it up.
Is Hair and Makeup Included?
Hair and makeup is included in all our boudoir shoots! I think it is really important for you to feel pampered, and having your hair and makeup done is a great way to do that! Our amazing team can help you complete your look, whether that’s “I just woke up like this” or full-on GLAM! You can bring any ideas you want for your makeup and we can try to use it for inspiration.
Do You Photoshop my Images?
I do edit your images for lighting, exposure, shadows and color balance. I also retouch things like bruises, blemishes, or scratches. I do NOT however edit anything ‘out’ that is permanent. I think it can be damaging to have a boudoir session done, and then edit out parts of yourself that make you who you are! Part of the process of accepting yourself and seeing your beauty also means not photoshopping out parts of yourself you may not like. I there are parts of yourself you are learning to love and aren’t thrilled about, that is okay! We are skilled in lighting and posing to make you look your absolute best and bring out your shine!

Where Should I Buy Outfits For My Boudoir Session?
There are a few places to buy outfits from and it depends on what you are getting and the style of your boudoir session! Here is a long list to choose from with different styles and sizing! Victoria’s Secret, AdoreMe, Torrid, Shein, Honey Birdette, Yandy, Bravissimo, Curvy Kate. If you are looking for something specific that you can’t find, let me know and I might know where to get it!

What Type of Print Products Do You Have?
We offer a variety of albums, luxury presentation boxes, gorgeous canvas and acrylic wall pieces, diamond blocks, folios, and quite a few other products. I absolutely love the feel of picking up a physical print, it is so surreal to see yourself like that!
Do You Offer Digitals?
All of our packages included some sort of print product and most of them have digitals as well. These digital images come locked in an online gallery for you to download or share!

I’m Freaking Out! How Can I Calm My Nerves?
Nerves are all part of the experience! I always say that it would probably be weird if you weren’t a little nervous. The nervousness at the beginning of your boudoir session makes your moment of WOW seeing your photos for the first time so much better!
How Many Outfits Should I Bring?
I always say it is best to bring too many than not enough. I recommend at least 3 outfits that you love, maybe a pair of heels if that is your thing, and some accessories is a great place to start. I will help you decide which outfits to use for each set we have planned.

Should I Get To My Boudoir Session Early?
Please plan of being to your shoot about 5-10 minutes early so we can get you settled in, chat about outfits, and get you ready for hair and makeup.
Where is Your Studio Located?
We are located just 2 minutes off of i70 in Denver, Colorado.
